The Correlation between Texture Evolution and Recrystallization Behavior during Rheologic Forming of 2195 Al–Li Alloy Cylindric Shell

Spinning extrusion forming (SEF) is a type of rheologic process for making complex structured aerospace components, such as ribbed cylindric shells. However, our understanding the texture evolution and recrystallization behavior during SEF still limited, especially in system like 2195 Al–Li alloy, which considered to be ideal material candidate vehicles because its low density high specific strength. In this study, we investigate microstructural alloy-made shell component subsequent solution treatment discuss mechanism influence on texture. It found that particle-stimulated nucleation (PSN) occurs due large number Al2Cu particles, responsible obvious reduction components SEF. Additionally, show continuous dynamic increased grains with {110} orientation, resulting relatively stable brass even treatment.
